KĀNUKA STAGE SHOWCASE WITH LO-FI PRODUCTIONS

This winter we will create a series of winter parties in Auckland. Each event will showcase the theme and unique character of one of our stages from New Year’s.

The first event is on Friday 6 June – a Kānuka Stage showcase in partnership with LO-FI Productions. Our special guest DJ Danny Howells (UK) will be playing alongside local talent Mia Kober, Ana Teles, Matt Drake and Red Project (aka Osey). Don’t miss out on this rare chance to see Danny play in a warehouse environment with full production.

DANNY HOWELLS (UK)

Danny Howells’ name is synonymous with multi-genre DJing which blends cutting edge house, techno, progressive, electro and more. For three decades Danny has been an in-demand DJ, first through a long association as a resident DJ on John Digweed’s Bedrock events and, later, for his popular mixes on the most respected brands in the business: Global Underground, Renaissance, Balance and Resident Adviser.

Danny’s production career has been prolific too. His records, remixes and own label Dig Deeper are renowned and he often sheares headlines on events alongside other progressive house icons peers John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo.

He’s been to New Zealand a number of times since his first visit in 2002 with some of his events remembered among the best parties in Auckland’s history.

KĀNUKA STAGE by LO-FI PRODUCTIONS

The Kānuka Stage is AUM’s hidden nightclub in the forest – a wild and beautiful world curated each year by the LO-FI Productions crew. From the lineup to the décor to the overall vibe, the space is transformed into the most sublime underground house and techno experience in Aotearoa over New Year’s.

Each summer, they go all out with their signature quirky flair: hanging toys, retro art boards, musical totems, and plenty of chill space to connect with friends old and new.

This Winter Series event will be fully themed with LO-FI decor and art to recreate the special house and techno space we love so much.

TICKET RESALE NOTICE

AUM tickets are available only through our authorised ticket vendor. All tickets have the users name on them and IDs are checked at the gate.

DO NOT buy or sell tickets through other platforms (such as Viagogo, Tixel, Trade Me). We cannot check them and they may not be valid tickets.

If you want to buy/sell a ticket from someone the sale must be conducted through the proper transfer system so that the proper name change can occur and payment/refunds made for the safety of both parties.
