HEALING GLADE AND WORKSHOPS
Each summer we host a range of workshops and activities. Community is at the heart of AUM Festival – it’s found in the connections people make sharing a dance floor, taking part in workshops, watching shows, setting up camp, or at a class in the Healing Glade.
The Healing Glade is located in a gorgeous quiet valley surrounded by trees and with a creek running through it. Local wild deer can be seen walking around most days too.
Workshops and classes
Our workshop and class schedule is comprehensive, ranging from fun art projects, learning music like drumming, morning yoga under the open sky, introduction to acro-yoga, festival self-care, learning to juggle, breathwork classes, self-massage techniques, relaxing breathwork sessions and more.
Mind Food
Dive into our informative workshops where you can explore urban farming, recycling innovations, learn about plant-based diets and nutrition, learn self-healing techniques, master traditional poi and flax weaving.
It’s wholesome mind food that will leave you inspired.

What people say about AUM
“Awesome experience: the camping, art, stages, workshops and shops. The music was amazing and full of great people. This was my first time, I’ll be back again!” (Lisa, via Facebook)

“Went last year for the first time and bought tickets for this year as soon as we were able. It was an absolutely magical experience for my family. Such a safe and welcoming environment to introduce our teenage daughters to the world of festivals.” (Kathryn, via Facebook)
“This was one of my absolute favorite festivals during my time living in NZ. I’m so happy to have been introduced to this amazing community through my partner who has been attending AUM since its debut year. It was full of great workshops and interactive activities. I can’t wait to attend again in the future.” (Stephanie, Google Review)
“I love what these guys do. They make it all about the happy people, family and inclusive vibes, non commercial, hot showers, zero waste policy, so much art everywhere, immersion and in nature. 3 days for camping, chilled days watching circus arts and partaking in yoga, barefeet wandering, costumes, dancing and getting away from city life.” (Shaki, Google Review)
